Your space is like a separate apartment: living room and kitchen, hall, toilet, study or hobby room, bathroom and bedroom. All necessary furniture and equipment is provided, even sheets, towels and cleaning supplies. I can send you more photos or even a video, if you want.

There is a separate meter that counts the electricity that is used upstairs. Regarding the heating (gas), there is no separate meter, so we split this cost 50/50. Please take into account that the costs for electricity and gas are NOT included in the listed prices (rent + extra costs) because they are unpredictable. The €85 is only for water, internet and insurances. From May until September the cost for gas is very low: about € 10. In the coldest month, the cost for gas upstairs was about € 160 (but it depends on a lot of factors).

Common parts

The garden, hallway downstairs and garage are the only shared areas. I live downstairs with my cat and dog. You live upstairs.

The house is situated in rural Gontrode, very close to Merelbeke-Melle, 8 km from Technology Park Zwijnaarde and 10 km from Ghent. Ideal for UGent or VIB students and employees!
