You have your own floor (2nd floor) with enough space for a bed and closets; a hallway leading to the bathroom (sink, shower, toilet) and extra space for a desk or something! Space to retreat to when needed.

Common parts

The ground floor of the house is communal. When you enter you have a space where bicycles can be placed with a washing machine and guest toilet. Then you come to the living room with leather seats and a projector for watching TV (Netflix and/or other streaming services). There is also a kitchen with oven and dishwasher. We also have a small city garden that is very pleasant in the summer with its southern location. A cellar is also available for extra storage.

I am Thomas, a software engineer in daily life and busy with coffee and music (singing in several choirs) outside of that. No problem with rehearsals/singing at home because I always do this on location or in the car. The passion for coffee started in the past few months, where I am now experimenting with filter coffee in a V60. I have a busy job, which means I usually keep it quiet in the evening and watch the news or read a book in the living room. Occasionally I go out with friends to a cafe and if the weather is good I sometimes go cycling.

These things we like to do togther

There is a cozy atmosphere here, with certainly the possibility to add your own touch in the common areas. A chat after work during dinner or going out together (board games, a drink at the cafe, etc.) is certainly possible!

I am looking for someone who also has a permanent job and is looking for a cozy cohousing close to the center of Ghent. Someone social and with the necessary respect to the fellow residents.
