The Room:
The available room is a mezzanine-style space (2 x 3.2 meters by 3.70 meters, connected by stairs). Large windows on two sides of the room provide abundant natural light, with options for complete darkness when desired. The room comes fully furnished with a bed (linens included), desk, comfortable office chair, lamps, closets, hangers, mirrors, and plenty of extra storage space. There is also a sink with both hot and cold water. Perched on the top floor, this cozy retreat offers a perfect balance of connection and privacy.

As my current housemate is moving out after two years of shared living, having decided to live with her boyfriend, I am now offering a mezzanine-style room available from February 1st. Itâs a spacious double room in a warm and welcoming house located near the Dr. Guislain Museum, conveniently situated between Rabot, Brugse Poort, and Bloemekenswijk. The neighborhood boasts supermarkets and charming grocery shops. The city center is easily accessible by bike (10 minutes) or tram (100 meters walk to the stop, then a 10-minute ride). Despite its convenient location, the area remains remarkably quiet. Nature lovers will appreciate two nearby parks within a 5-minute walk. The Bourgoyen, a nature reserve, is just a 5-minute bike ride away. The Vinderhoutse Bossen forest is located a 10-minute bike ride from the house.

The entrance offers ample space for bike storage, as well as access to a washing machine, drying cabinet, and spacious freezer. The living room is filled with natural light and opens onto a garden perfect for barbeques, relaxation and enjoying afternoon sunshine. A garden house provides additional storage space. While smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house, it is permitted in the garden. There are two toilets: one downstairs and one in the shared bathroom. The spacious bathroom features both a shower and a bathtub, and two sinks. There's also a dedicated area for ironing clothes, making it a well-equipped space for daily routines and relaxation.
The house is well-insulated (EPC B) and features central heating with individual temperature control for each room. All windows are fitted with mosquito screens, allowing for ventilation without disturbing your sleep during summer nights. Strong Wi-Fi coverage is available throughout the entire house and garden.
